A2O is an arts education program offered through the city of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation department. A2O brings together youth and rising environmental artists at a local recreation facility to create permanent or temporary artwork.

Together with Charlyn of Sanctuary Wholistic Arts, I facilitate socially engaged after school arts programing. The themes for this school year are community, nature and geometry. As facilitators we lead the participants in exercises that explore the fluidity of these concepts, erasing boundaries and finding intersections. Throughout the term, students learn useful tools for community and art practices.

During the Spring semester of A2O, students worked to produce a paint a mural that adorns the Francisville Rec Center's art room.
