Tree House Books is a community space in North Philadelphia that focuses on literacy, dynamic after school programming and books for everyone.

In partnership with Charlyn, of Sanctuary Wholistic Arts, we implemented the Environmental Stewardship project during the spring of 2015. We collectively imagined what buildings students would have wanted to see in their community. Using recycled materials, we created a city based on the students’ vision. The imagined city was exhibited as part of the spring block party and community day.
