Tree House Books is a community space in North Philadelphia that focuses on literacy, dynamic after school programming and books for everyone.

I facilitated workshops during the summer boys camp. We learned practical building skills including how to measure, mark, cut, and drill wood. We also explored the appropriate application of knots, resulting in macrame and bracelets. During camp we produced a set of sawhorses that remain in use at Tree House.
